Alice M Odell

Alice M. Odell (Williamson), 83, passed away peacefully, on March 16, 2026, surrounded by family. Born October 14, 1942, in Somerset, PA she lived a life defined by strength, resilience, and deep care for others.

Alice found joy in creating an organized and calm life focused on family and friends. She was building a career in Washington, D.C., in trusted administrative roles, when she met her Sweet Pea. She later was able to dedicate herself to her family and helped manage Odell Associates. She and Charles shared a love of travel, exploring the world together in retirement.

She found joy in simple routines, friendships, and staying closely connected to loved ones. Known for her kindness, attentiveness, and thoughtful gestures, Alice made people feel remembered and valued whether visiting a restaurant, walking with neighbors, or buying a special gift for her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Sweet Pea” Odell; her parents; Clarence and Mary Williamson; her siblings; James Williamson (Maryette) and Mary Weyand (Charles) and her sons, Charles and David. She is survived by her daughter, Kelly; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She will be deeply missed as a devoted grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and steady presence in the lives of those who knew her.

No formal services will be held, at Alice's request. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to BridgingLife (Dove House).
