Anne Marie Francis

Anne Marie Francis, born September 20, 1949, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026. She was born and raised on Long Island, New York, and built a long career in public service, working at the U.S. Naval Base in Lakehurst, New Jersey, and later at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland. Anne put herself through school and built her career through her own determination, creating a life defined by hard work, independence, and self‑made success.

Anne previously served as an EMT and also worked as a police dispatcher. Her ability to stay calm under pressure allowed her to provide critical care and support to many people throughout her life.

She is survived by her sons, Matthew and Thomas; her daughters‑in‑law, Cindy and Catriona; and her grandchildren, Blake, Lexi, Ian, and Aaron. She was predeceased by her former husband, Jeffrey Francis, with whom she raised their sons at McGuire Air Force Base and in Browns Mills, New Jersey.

She loved her family deeply. She was an animal lover, a surfer, and a person whose spirit and individuality made her truly one of a kind. She met life with honesty, strength, and a no‑nonsense spirit that everyone who knew her recognized.

In accordance with her wishes, no funeral service or memorial will be held.
