Astra Lee Grams

Astra Lee Grams, age 80, graduated to Glory on January 12, 2026.

Astra was born in Philadelphia on July 11, 1945 to Rev. Gordon and Edith Cook. She grew up in Penns Grove, New Jersey where she met her soulmate, Vernon Grams. They recently celebrated 63 years of marriage.

She is survived by her loving husband Vern, her sister Margaret (Robert) Kille, her daughters Loree (Brian) Childs and Rhonda (Jeff) Langley, grandchildren Meggan (Erik), Britney (Kenny), Casey (Joe), Alec, Billy, Devon, Connor, and great-grandchildren Lauren, Joshua, Carson, Shane, Jacob, Kyle, Everleigh, Joey, Lucas.

In addition to her parents, Astra was preceded in death by her younger brother Peter, and her eldest granddaughter Ashley.

Astra was a devoted wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a co-owner with her sister of a second-hand clothing shop for 25 years. Astra loved gardening, reading, and needlework and was happiest working with children as a Sunday School teacher, Brownie and Girl Scout leader, and as an Awana teacher.

A memorial service will be held at our church on February 12th.

Memorial video and visitation from 10:00 to 11:00. The service will begin at 11:00.
