In Loving Memory of Benjamin (Ben) Charles Ganger

January 8, 1988 – June 29, 2025

Benjamin Charles Ganger, 37, of Catonsville, Maryland, passed away unexpectedly on June 29, 2025. A devoted father, beloved son, loyal friend, and deeply creative soul, Ben’s passing leaves a space that words cannot fill.

Ben was a man of resilience and heart. After achieving two years of sobriety, he had recently enrolled in college, eager to begin a new chapter in Fall 2025. A gifted artist, a voracious reader, and a lover of music, Ben poured his passion into everything he did. He was known for his quick wit and an insatiable curiosity for technology that earned him the title of “techno geek” among those who knew and loved him.

Above all, Ben was proudest of being a father to his son, Logan Ross Ganger, who was the light of his life. His love for Logan was fierce, unwavering, and inspiring.

Ben is survived by his son Logan; his father Charles Ganger and wife Barbara; his mother Shellyn Renken Snowden; his brother Sam Ganger and wife Amanda, along with their children Kaedin, Violet, Eleanor, and Charlotte; his sister Cate Ganger and her fiancé Chris Gavin, and their children Nate and Amelia; stepsister Jessica Kirbow and daughter Lylah; and his cousin Brendon Renken and wife Dearia, and their children Alexander, Alister, and Atlas. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives were brightened by his presence.

While our hearts grieve his absence, we find peace in knowing that Ben is now at rest in the arms of God. We rejoice in the promise that we will see him again, made whole and free.

Ben’s life was a testament to strength, creativity, and love. May we remember him for his courage, his humor, and his unwavering spirit. “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns." Philippians 1:6
