Carol Ann Behring, a beloved salon owner and dedicated private hair stylist who graced the industry for over 25 years, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025, in Towson, Maryland. Born Carol Ann Martucci on December 27, 1942, in Newark, New Jersey, she brought joy and beauty into the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A vibrant soul, Carol was known for her unwavering dedication to those around her. She generously shared her warmth and nurturing spirit, always ensuring that everyone felt cared for and treasured. With a great sense of humor and an affinity for music of all genres, she created an atmosphere of love and laughter that surrounded her and her loved ones.
Family was at the heart of Carol's life. For the last three years, she cherished the time spent in Bel Air, Maryland, with her son, Tom, daughter-in-law, Cindy, and granddaughter, Calleigh. It was during these moments that she felt free of financial burdens, allowing her to indulge in the simple joys of life alongside those she adored.
Carol had a passion for cooking and baking, especially during the holiday season, where she delighted in crafting meals that brought her family together. She also loved to spend time with her sister, Tree, sharing carefree days at the Borgata in Atlantic City, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
She is survived by her loving sons, Thomas and Joseph Behring, her daughter-in-law, Cindy, her precious granddaughter, Calleigh, and Abby Villanueva, Joseph's Fiancé. Carol also leaves behind her cherished niece Nicole Batton, her nephew John Batton, her grandnephew Connor Batton, and her grandniece Julia Batton. She is warmly remembered by her brother, Joseph Martucci, and sister-in-law Catherine Martucci.
Carol reunites with her husband, Thomas A. Behring, her devoted sister, Patricia "Tree" Martucci, loving/jokester brother-in-law Bernard McCauley, and her parents, Lucille and Joseph Martucci. While her physical presence will be missed dearly, her spirit lives on in the countless lives she touched with her kindness, affection, and laughter.
