Carol Ann Bieniek

Carol Bieniek of Havre de Grace, Maryland, passed away peacefully on March 31st after a courageous year-long battle with cancer. She was 76 years old.

Born to the late Robert and Mary Burns, Carol was also predeceased by her sister, Lynn. She is survived by her loving children: Kim (Brian), Tony, Nick (Carrie), Erin, and Nathan (Emma), who were the center of her world. Carol was a proud and devoted grandmother to Megan (Matt), Tommy, Taylor, Matthew, Jarred, Ryleigh, Ryan, and Logan and a cherished great-grandmother to Addison and Mason.

She is also survived by her dear siblings Bob, Peggy, Patty, and Gary, along with many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends who will miss her deeply.

Carol found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, creating memories that will be treasured for generations. She was also an enthusiastic fan of her hometown teams and could often be found cheering on the Baltimore Ravens and the Orioles. Carol spent her career as an administrative assistant at APG-Edgewood Arsenal.

Carol will be remembered for her warmth and the love she shared so freely with those around her. Her legacy lives on in the family she adored and the lives she touched.

A celebration of Carol’s life will be held on April 11th between 2:00-4:00 pm at the home of her sister Patty Hooker, 1116 Oak Tree Dr., Havre de Grace, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to a charitable organization of your choice.
