David Watt

David Gordon Watt, of Catonsville, Maryland, was born on June 7, 1955, and passed away on February 28, 2026, at the age of 70. A graduate of the University of Maryland, David distinguished himself both in the classroom and on the track, where he served as team captain and earned recognition as an accomplished middle-distance runner. His drive, discipline, and quiet determination were hallmarks of everything he pursued.

David is survived by his longtime companion, Pamela DeAngelis; his brothers, Jeffrey and wife Patricia, and their two daughters, Jay and his daughter, and Edward and his wife Lisa and their three sons. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon Johnson Watt and Julia Howley Watt.

A friend and lover of dogs. David will be remembered by all who knew him as a man of genuine warmth, humor, and generosity. A memorial service will be announced for a future date later in the spring.
