David Whitestone

David Lindsey Whitestone was born on May 25, 1936 in Alexandria, Virginia. He died at home in Ellicott City, Maryland on January 30, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Trager, 2 sons, JD and Matthew Whitestone, 2 step children, Lisa Farrell (Rich) and Dennis Trager (Rachel). There are also 5 grandchildren - Trae, Jacob and Benjamin Farrell and Vivian and Eleanor Trager. Add to that, 2 great grandchildren - Finnley and Henry Farrell.

He was the fourth child in the family of Robert and Isabel Whitestone and the last to go. He is predeceased by his brothers Louis (Sonny), Robert (Skip), James and Donald and his sister, Isabel Hibbard.

Dave was in the Navy for four years then went to work at C&P Telephone in Washington, D.C. He retired from there in 1991.

A memorial service will be held on March 22, 2025 at Oscar's Alehouse in Woodstock, Maryland from 1-4pm.

David was loved and will be missed.
