Debbie Lenora Peacock Meyer

Debbie Lenora Peaecock Meyer passed away on April 13, 2026 in Bethesda, MD. She was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Roland Meyer. She was born in Hawkinsville, GA to Estelle and Jesse Peacock. Debbie grew up in Pineview, GA and graduated from Wilcox High School. Later she graduated from Middle Georgia College and Georgia Southern University with a Masters Degree from the University of Maryland.

Debbie taught school in Maryland until she returned to her childhood passion of painting.

She was a master of recreating paintings by Master Painters for people to enjoy. She was well known as a master copyist as well as for her original paintings.

She leaves behind a sister, Anita Crenshaw (Ray) of Byron, GA., three nephews, Steve Barker (Lisa), Todd Barker, Scott Barker and many cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held on May 16, 2026 in her home church of Self-Revelation Church in Washington, DC. Burial will be private.
