Our beloved Diana went to sleep on March 21, 2025, leaving behind an enduring legacy of love and grace. She was deeply cherished by her devoted husband of 55 years, Mazlone Caldwell, their two daughters, Morgan Caldwell and Kelly Harper, and her five grandchildren—Cameryn Burrell, Stephen Spencer, Nylah Harper, Nadia Harper, and Blake Spencer. Diana was the heart and soul of our family, a steadfast pillar whose impact will forever resonate in the warmth and kindness she shared with all who knew her.
Diana also leaves behind her brother, Paul Howard, and his wife, Janice Howard, who is also the sister of her beloved husband, Mazlone Caldwell.
Known for her quiet yet unshakable strength, Diana moved through life with unmatched grace. She touched the lives of everyone she met, giving freely of herself without expectation. Diana devoted 72 years of her life to faithfully serving Jehovah, having been baptized early in life. Her unwavering commitment to her faith was a cornerstone of who she was, and she devoted her time and energy to sharing the word of Jehovah God. Matthew 24:13 “But the one who has endured to the end will be saved”. James 5:11 “Look! We consider happy those who have endured. You have heard of the endurance of Job and have seen the outcome Jehovah gave, that Jehovah is very tender in affection and merciful”. Diana had a gift for finding beauty in the simplest moments and inspired all of us to do the same.
Diana’s remarkable journey has been exemplified by her academic achievements—earning a Bachelor's degree from Towson University, a Master's degree from the University of Baltimore, and a Doctoral degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. She accomplished all of this while being a wife, a mom, and a full-time employee. Alongside these roles, she is also a devoted sharer of the Kingdom of Good News, reflecting her deep passion for knowledge, service, and making a difference.
Please join us in celebrating Diana’s extraordinary life and the profound, lasting influence she had on us all. We are confident in Jehovah’s promise to be reunited with her very soon.
Now you understand why my head is not bowed, I don’t shout or jump about or have to talk real loud.
When you see me passing, it ought to make you proud.
I say, It’s in the click of my heels, The bend of my hair, the palm of my hand,
The need for my care.
Cause I’m a woman phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That’s me.
