Diane Scheele

Diane Michelle Scheele of Catonsville, Maryland passed away at the assisted living facility, Nutured Nest in Randallstown, Maryland on September 23, 2026. Diane was the youngest daughter of the late William C. Scheele and Mary A. Scheele (nee Fitzgerald). Diane was a beloved sister to Regina S. McChesney, and William A. Scheele and the late James C. Scheele. Diane was also a loving aunt to Heather, Lisa, Laura, Frances, Michael, Jessica, Melissa, and Amy. Diane grew up and lived in the Woodlawn, Catonsville area for her whole life. She worked as a Paraeducator for over 20 years at Catonsville Middle School, where she loved and was loved in return by her co-workers and all of her students. Catonsville Middle School's faculty, staff, and students were truly Diane's second family.

Diane was an animal lover. She had several beloved dogs and later was known for taking in many stray cats and giving them a loving home. Diane loved to read and also watch mystery shows on PBS.

The family is planning a celebration of life- the date is yet to be determined. In lieu of flowers consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society.
