Dolores DiBlasi

Dolores Marie DiBlasi, age 97, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026.

She was born in Baltimore, MD on December 24, 1928. She grew up in Baltimore and met her husband Joseph DiBlasi (deceased 1998) while working at Amoco oil company. They moved to Westview Park in Baltimore county in 1964 where they and raised 3 children until 1973, next moving to Atlanta, Georgia followed by Overland Park, Kansas before returning to Maryland in 1987 where they experienced wonderful memories in retirement residing at Prospect Bay in Grasonville, Maryland.

She had a passion for arts and crafting. Halloween was one of here favorite holidays and she delighted in elaborate costumes where she terrified kids in Westview Park with inventive costumes including the very scary headless man. She loved oil painting, quilting and making Christmas ornaments. That artistic gene passed on to both her girls and grandkids. In addition to her artistic talents, she was equally passionate about cooking and baking. She excelled at Italian and German cuisine-her specialties-dessert.

She is survived by her three children:

Pam Copenhaver (Ed), Michael DiBlasi ( Julie) and Laura DiBlasi ( Dennis Koch). Six grandchildren, TJ, Amanda, Sarah, Danielle, Sean, Doug. and nine great grand children Eddie, Mason, Jack, Madison, Abbigail, Evelynn, Kyle, Willow, and John.

Visitation is Friday March 27th from 2-4pm at McNabb funeral home in Catonsville,Maryland.
