Donald Lee "Don" Whipps of Catonsville died at home of lung cancer on June 20, 2025. He was 77. Don was born in Baltimore in 1948 to Samuel and Betty Jane Whipps. A career pharmacist, Don pursued his education at the University of Maryland and held his Maryland pharmacist license for 50 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Betsy, their two children Samantha Lewandowski (Adam) and Ryan Whipps (Kim), his brothers Randolph Whipps and David Whipps, and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday September 25, 2025 – World Pharmacists Day – at 1pm at Catonsville Presbyterian Church.
