Doris Elizabeth Button

Doris Elizabeth Button, affectionately known as Pat, was born on July 26, 1946, in Baltimore, where she later spent her cherished life and career. On November 13, 2025, Doris passed away in her hometown, leaving behind a legacy filled with love and dedication to those around her.

Doris was the beloved wife of David Button. Together, they shared many years of marriage and companionship. She was also a proud mother to her son, Jimmy Tricario, and embraced her role as a supportive mother-in-law to Kristine Tricario. Her family continued to flourish with the addition of her stepson, Scott Button and his husband David Streit, and she found immense joy in her granddaughter, Elizabeth Tricario.

During her life, Doris was deeply invested in her community, particularly within the Baltimore area Yacht Clubs. Her commitment to this community showcased her passion and love for the water and boating, which was reflected in her numerous years of involvement and contributions.

Despite her battle with dementia and cancer, Doris remained a resilient spirit, inspiring those around her with her strength and grace. Her memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Doris on Monday, December 29, 2025, at the Crescent Yacht Club. Details will follow. She will be remembered fondly for her warmth, her unwavering support for her family, and her indelible impact on her community.
