Emmett Amos Brown

 Emmett Amos Brown, 61, passed away on February 20, 2026 at home. Emmett was born on January 7, 1965 in Baltimore, Maryland. 

He is survived by his wife of 38 years and lifelong best friend, Belinda Lee Brown; his adult children, Emily Brown, Ashley Fox (spouse Christopher Fox), Brandi Moore (spouse Brent Moore), and Christina Brown (spouse Scott Reynolds); his grandchildren, Marissa Carrigo, Zoey Carrigo, Jacey Fox, Aiden Brown, Isabella Carrigo, RJ Wilson, Lucas Moore, Raelynn Moore, Landon Fox, Logan Fox, and Aubrey Fox; and his dog Marley. He joins his beloved deceased granddaughter, Harper Brown, who passed away in March 2017.

He was a friend, best friend, husband, father, and pop-pop. He was a steadfast Ravens fan. His memory will live on in the people who loved him. 

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 3:00PM at the VFW in Taneytown, Maryland (5801 Conover Rd, Taneytown, MD 21787). Light refreshments will be served. In lieu of flowers, please donate in his memory to Tails of Hope at https://www.tails-of-hope.org/.
