Grace Ethel Crockett

Grace Ethel Crockett, lovingly known as "Grace," passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on December 22, 2025, in Baltimore, Maryland. Grace was a dedicated and hardworking employee of the Hecht Company for over 40 years.

Grace took great pride in her community service as a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and VFW. She adored the companionship and laughter she shared with her dear friends Sue and Mae, and enjoyed participating in bingo, bus trips, and various activities at the Hatton Senior Center in Baltimore. Many fond memories were also created during her camping trips with her longtime companion, John Cowles.

Above all, Grace cherished family holidays, finding her greatest joy in being surrounded by family, love, laughter, and memories that will last forever. Her warmth, kindness, and generosity made her home a beloved gathering place for family and friends.

Grace is preceded in death by her late husband, Richard George Crockett, and her son Richard Joseph Crockett. She is survived by her loving children, David Crockett, Judith Fida-King (wife of Joseph King and late husband Anthony Richard Fida, Jr.) and Cynthia Crockett. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Nicole Crockett (wife of Michael Ey), Christina Baldwin (wife of Joshua Baldwin), Brittany Fida; and her great-grandchildren Charlotte and Bailey Baldwin, Emma Drozd, and Camden Rockafellow.

Grace will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly through the lives she touched, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. "Until We Meet Again."
