Gene Tinker, age 63, passed away last week in bed - one of his favorite places, with his heavy wool socks on to keep his feet warm. He always said that his body wasn't going to last forever. Lo and behold, he was right again.

He is survived by three brothers, Barry, Dana and Frank and two sisters, Carmen (Kitty) and Anita. The six siblings grew up as their own ball team, and cheering section. As well as wrestling team, taste testers and work force. He was the life of the party, true friend and self described foodie.

He is also survived by lots more family, friends, co-workers, cousins (20+), nieces, nephews and the boys (and girls) of Baynesville including husbands, wives, and girlfriends.

He would give anyone the shirt off his back or the shoes he was wearing. We will miss his smile, humor, and dancing feet. He was artistic, generous, and caring throughout his life. Loved his puppies, his hairline (until he didnt) the Orioles, Ravens, Olympics, holidays, and Fireball. He worked hard until his body said no more but would drop everything if you needed help. He had to lay on his heating pad for three days after, but he was your go to guy. And could he cook!!! The Tinker Family Cookbook authored by his dad and Fanny Farmer were always within touch but a little inspiration could always be found on YouTube any day or night. There was not a western tv show or movie that he had not watched many, many times and Bob Ross was often quoted "there are no mistakes, only happy accidents."

He joins his Mom and Dad Carmen and Robert Tinker, grandparents Ida and Robert and Grandmom Toni, numerous aunts and uncles (responsible for the 20+ cousins mentioned above) cousins, niece and friends who preceded him in death. The list is long but the family is comforted knowing that he is with all of them. Snoopy and Sneakers and every puppy he met were waiting for him at the Rainbow Bridge.

Those who knew and loved Gene know that he is no longer in pain and he parts this life saying: Who loves you baby and It's All Good.

After his cremation, a celebration of Gene will be held on Flag Day in Paradise, Catonsville.
