In Loving Memory of Frank P. Hodges Jr.

Frank Parlette Hodges Jr., of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2026, at the age of 70. He was born on September 3, 1955, and proudly served in the United States Navy as a Sonar Technician before continuing his career in the electronics field.

Frank had a love for sports, blues music, his Jacob’s ladder, and his signature Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses. He loved to tinker and could often be found with several games playing at once while listening to the blues. He affectionately dubbed himself the “Mad Scientist.” Frank had a natural gift for making people laugh, often bringing humor and lightness when it was needed most.Frank shared a beautiful life with his beloved wife, Linda LeTourneau Hodges, who preceded him in death on April 20, 2016. Together, Frank and Linda were known for their kindness, compassion, and willingness to help others. Their generosity touched many lives and remains part of the legacy they leave behind.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Jeanne Parker Hodges and Frank Parlette Hodges Sr., his beloved wife Linda, and his daughter, Margaret Jeanne.He is survived by his children, Allison (Ira) Russell and Frank (Katie) Hodges III; his grandchildren, Jeffrey and Taylor Chalk, and Kelly, Caroline, and Rian Hodges; his siblings, Jennifer and Addison; extended family and loved ones; and the many friends and acquaintances who were fortunate enough to know him.Though his chair may now be empty and his laughter quiet, the memories Frank gave us will never fade. His smile, humor, kindness, and unmistakable personality will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Frank will be deeply missed and remembered with more love than words can express.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 8th at 10am at Corpus Christi Church, 110 W Lafayette Ave Baltimore, MD 21217. Burial will follow at St. John's cemetery in Ellicott City. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Frank’s memory with a donation to a cause that reflects the compassion and generosity he and Linda shared throughout their lives, such as the Wounded Warrior Project, a local humane society or animal rescue organization, a first responder fund, or the Alzheimer’s Association of Maryland.
