Frank O'Connor III

Frank William O’Connor, III (“Frankie”) passed away after a brave struggle with recurrent pneumonia on September 26, 2026. He was the beloved son of the late Frank William O’Connor, Jr. and the late Evelyn M. O’Connor (nee Finney), and beloved brother of the late Patricia R. Geis (nee O’Connor). He is survived by his loving sister Sharon E. Lukens and her husband, Dennis Lukens and beloved sister Joanne O’Connor Szpara and much-loved brother-in-law, Kenneth Szpara.

He is also survived by his beloved nephews, Timothy Lukens and Nicholas Szpara; his beloved nieces, Molly, Rachel, and Natalie Szpara; and his cherished great-nephew, Sagan Erline Szpara. He will be missed by his family, friends and many loving caregivers from his community group home, especially Cheryl Thompson, his extraordinary house manager.

Frank will be lovingly remembered & celebrated in a Mass of Christian Burial on November 19, 2026 at 11:00 am at Saint Isaac Jogues Catholic Church: 9215 Old Harford Rd, Parkville, MD 21234. Interment at Holly Hill Cemetery: 10201 Bird River Rd, Baltimore, MD 21220.
