Jalil Alberto Juez (know by his friends as Jay), 65, passed away on December 27, 2024. He was born in Ecuador to Manuela de Carvalho and Alberto Juez. Jalil moved to Baltimore City when he was seven year old and made his home here. Jalil served in the U.S. Army, 1978-1983. He worked as a contractor with a communication's company and at different sporting events in the surrounding area of Baltimore City and Washington D.C. Jalil was very sport minded. He never missed a football or baseball game. He was a kind, caring, and responsible person to everyone he encountered and to the animals. Jalil is survived by his mother, his sister Liliana, his nephew Cesar, and his aunts, uncles, and cousins who live in Ecuador. Cesar A. Villacres, III (brother) predeceased Jalil. A Memorial Mass will be held to honor Jalil's life on January 18, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Saint Agnes Church, 5422 Old Frederick Road, Baltimore, MD 21229. (At the intersection of St. Agnes and Baltimore National Pike.) In Lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Jalil may be directed to BARCS (link to donate at BARCS).
