Janet "Missy" Pletcher

Janet “Missy” Pletcher, age 67, passed away at her home on March 7, 2026. She was born on April 16, 1958.

Missy was known for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and the love she shared with her family and friends. She found joy in the simple things in life. She loved swimming and listening to music, but her greatest happiness came from gardening and caring for animals. She is survived by her niece, Kate Derbyshire and her husband Matt; her nephews, Kyle Pletcher and Jason Pletcher and his wife Carla; along with extended family and friends who will cherish her memory.

Missy was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

A private family service will be held to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, the family may choose to honor Missy’s memory through acts of kindness or by supporting animal welfare organizations.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
