It is with deep sorrow and enduring love that we announce the passing of Janice Lynn Vincent, who departed this life on March 30, 2026, at the age of 77. A woman of quick wit, a kind heart, and a spirited personality, Janice left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Born on March 13, 1949, Janice possessed a remarkable sense of humor and a sharp mind, always ready with a clever remark or a lighthearted joke that could brighten even the hardest days. Her laughter was a true gift, and her innate ability to bring joy to others will be cherished by all who knew her.

She shared a beautiful life with her late husband, Mark Vincent, who passed away in May of 2025. Together, they turned their compassion into action by opening their hearts and home to several rescued dogs. By giving these animals a second chance and a loving shelter, Janice reflected a deep generosity that extended to all living things.

Above all, Janice was devoted to her family. Her legacy of strength and warmth is carried forward by her daughter, Jennifer Metzger; her stepdaughter, Laura Dalton and her husband Chuck; and her stepson, David Vincent and his wife Deb.
Janice was the beloved "Mom-Mom" to her eight grandchildren: Amanda, Grant, Andrew, Grace, Diana, Chris, Matthew, and Julia; and her three great-grandchildren: Layne, Meli Rhay, and Emma Grace. Each of them carries a part of her spirit, strength, and warmth into the future.

Her life was defined by love, humor, and an unwavering devotion to those she held dear. She will be deeply missed, but her "mom-isms" and sharp wit will live on in the stories told by her family for generations to come.

A service to celebrate Janice’s life will be held at a later date. In honor of her lifelong love for animals, the family suggests donations be made in her memory to a local animal rescue of your choice.
