Lee Odette Blackburn

On Sunday, August 23rd, Lee Odette Blackburn of Edgewood, MD, formerrly of Cecil County, MD, peacefully passed holding the hands of her daughter and granddaughter also surrounded by the ones who held her close. She was a 1968 graduate of Rising Sun High School spending most of her life in Cecil County. After spending over 20years at McDaniel's Yacht Basin as a Warranty Administator, she became a caregiver. Lee fell inlove with being a paraprofessional substitute teacher for children of all ages but ending up finding her true passion working with the amazing people of Bayside Community Network, where she was admired and loved by many.

Miss Blackburn was proceeded in death by her mother, Sara Minker, and father, John Blackburn Sr., her sister, Dana Mae Stewart, and brother, John Blackburn Jr. Lee is survived by her daughter, Memory Fye (William "Dave"), granddaughter, Sara DelGavio (Will), grandson, James Fye (Abby), great granddaughter, Gracie DelGavio and special daughter, Elizabeth Durkee. Special Thanks to our close family friend, Tahesha Boynes, who kept mom smiling and laughing on her bad days, she loves you T!
