Margaret Klein

Suddenly on July 31, 2026. Margaret Marie Klein (nee Franck). Survived by husband Wayne, daughter Lisa Donegan (Michael), grandchildren Mary Margaret and Maximilian Donegan, and great-granddaughter Veena Sawhney. Also, brother Louis Franck (Rosalind) and a host of relatives and friends. She was proceeded in death by parents Walter and Dorothy Franck, husband William Nordhoff, and brother Paul Franck.

Margaret was a 1960 graduate of Catonsville High School and earned an Associate Degree in Nursing at age 40 from Catonsville Community College. Becoming a registered nurse was the realization of a goal deferred for her and a source of great pride for her family. She touched countless lives as a Certified Oncology Nurse in her career at Mercy Medical Center and in this role was passionate about patient education and mentoring.

Margaret enjoyed traveling (especially beach vacations with the Donegans) and spending time with Wayne in West Virginia. She knew the importance of time spent with family and friends. Her favorite ways to connect were varied- bus trips and day excursions, morning coffee and afternoon Happy Hour, planned family dinners and impromptu visits. Margaret tended her garden with love and was an expert in the homemaking arts, particularly baking. A life-long Lutheran, she was unwavering in her faith and was prepared when called by the Lord.

A liturgical service to honor Margaret's memory is planned for Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 10:30 AM, Salem Lutheran Church 905 Frederick Road in Catonsville, MD. The Church will be livestreaming the service.
