Mary Elizabeth “Kelly” Caslin, 93, of Timonium, Maryland passed away peacefully at Pickersgill Retirement Community of June 20, 2026. She was the daughter of late J. Ralph and Rose Kelly.

Kelly was born on July 8, 1932 in Bel Air, Maryland, where she was raised on the Kelly Family Farm. She attended Bel Air High School, graduated in 1949. Afterwards, Kelly attended St. Joseph’s School of Nursing, where she graduated in 1952. This is when she started her decades long career of nursing, serving the community.

On November 14, 1959, she married Francis Charles “Hank” Caslin Jr. They were happily married for 59 years, until Hank passed away in April of 2018.

Kelly was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to all. Kelly worked as a nurse until she was 86, while caring for her ailing husband at home. Countless friends and family would call on Kelly for advice and support.

She was extremely proud of her Irish Heritage and celebrated St. Patrick’s Day as if it were Christmas. Although she had a severe fear of flying, she made the trip to Ireland alongside her daughter at the age of 70 (the only stamp on her passport)! Kelly loved to throw a party, where even at family celebrations, all were welcome. Her face always lit up every time her granddaughter, Cate, walked into the room.

Kelly is survived by her loving family, Frank Charles Caslin III and his wife Geri, Elizabeth Kelly Caslin, Michael Quinn Caslin and his wife Lorie, granddaughter Catherine Quinn Caslin and sister, Rosemary (Roie) Lyons; many nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, Kelly was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Charles “Hank” Caslin Jr., sister Catherine “Kelly” Anne Fitzpatrick and brothers, James “Jim” Ralph Kelly and Francis “Frank” Patrick Kelly.

Services will be private, with a Celebration of Life held at a later date.
