On Sunday September 15 th , 2024 Mary Joyce Noell passed away in Ellicott City, MD. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Wistar Huey III (Pete) for 24 years.
Joyce began her education at St. Mark’s School and graduated in 1956 and then attended Mt. DeSales Academy for her high school career. She attended Towson State University in 1991 for Fundamentals of Clowning. She was a certified Ophthalmic Technician/Retinal Aniographer and worked for Carefirst for 30 years until she retired in 2004.
Her talents and hobbies included: sewing, photography, gourmet cooking, entertaining, playing the piano and the harp, and acting. Her love of antiques were spread all around her condominium and she lived at Greystone Schoolhouse for 28 years.
She is survived by her children David Reina, Andrew Salisbury, Melissa Salisbury; her grandchildren Ciana Shaeffer, Sophia Shaeffer, Zhane Salisbury; her great-granddaughter Olivia. Joyce is predeceased by her son Christopher Reina and her grandson Ian Tilton.
Family will receive friends for visitation October 5, 2024 at 10:30am at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, 711 Maiden Choice, Catonsville, MD (21228) with a Memorial Mass to follow at 11am. Interment is private. Online condolences may be made to cremationsocietyofmd.com.
