On February 6, 2023, Melody Stump, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family. Melody was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother (aka Memaw). Melody is survived by her daughters Jennifer L. Holsey (and husband, Larkin John), Lennea N. Downs (and husband, Doug), and Holly A. Lindner (and husband, Brandon) as well as seven gorgeous and brilliant grandchildren, Lily H., Benjamin L., Gregory H., Violet H., Anna Claire L, Allison L., and Conner D. all of whom she adored with all her heart. She is also survived by her sister Francis Skutans (and husband, Albert), Brother Robert Foster and numerous Nieces and Nephews, her companion Glenn Reitz and many many extended family members, and friends. Melody was devoted to the church and served on the Women’s group for Arbutus Methodist for many years. She helped teach Bible School, helped with vacation bible school, assisted with many church events. She loved to go on nature walks and was an avid bird watcher. She was a member of the American Sewing guild, Bible Study group and loved sewing, crafts, baking and most of all spending time with her grandchildren while doing everything she loved.
Family and friends are welcome to join a Memorial service at Catonsville United Methodist Church, 6 Melvin Avenue, Catonsville, Maryland 21228 on March 3, 2023, at 11:00 AM.
