We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Michael Francis O’Connor on May 8, 2025, at Gilchrist Hospice in Columbia, MD. Michael was born on January 2, 1968 in Staten Island and raised in New Jersey. He was predeceased by his parents Richard and Mary (nee Sweeney) O'Connor.
He is survived by his wife Tracy, daughter Kylie; sister Patti and her husband Mick; sister Ann, brother Gary and his wife Maigen; brother Ed and his wife Jennifer, along with nieces and nephews Kian, Rachel, Kinley, Kyle, Katie, Kieran, Emily, Max, Jake and many close relatives.
Michael attended the University of Delaware before graduating from Fairleigh Dickinson University and went on to a successful career in Information Technology working at Chubb, IVANS, Liberty Mutual and Johns Hopkins University Hospital.
Michael was a devoted husband and father who enjoyed traveling and spending quality time with his family as well as maintaining his long term friendships.
A celebration of life will be held in both Baltimore and New Jersey in the summer of 2025. Memorial donations may be made to Gilchrist Hospice in Columbia, MD.
