Patricia “Pat” Moran, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away at 83 years old in Annapolis, Maryland on December 29, 2025, after a multi-year battle with Dementia. While her loss leaves an immeasurable void, her family takes comfort in knowing her beautiful spirit is at peace—and in the hope that she is joyfully reunited with her beloved son Josh, sister Kathy, Margaret and brother Gary and those family and friends that passed before her.

Patricia was a woman of remarkable strength, faith, and compassion. Whether with family, friends, or strangers, she gave without hesitation. Her faith guided her through every season of life, offering her courage, purpose, and hope. She faced challenges with grace and resilience from raising three children as a single mother, fighting cancer or dealing with the crushing loss of her son Josh and finding a positive outlet for grief through the War Letters Project. Pat lifted others up even when she carried her own burdens quietly and taught us that dignity comes from how you show up for others, courage can be quiet and love is a choice you make.

Her greatest joy in life was her family. She poured her whole heart into her family, children and grandchildren always there for support and unconditional love. Her presence brought peace, and her legacy is unconditional love.

While family and faith were defined who she was and how she showed up, her passion was art. She started dabbling in art as a teenager creating her own fashion drawings. She found her artistic outlet later in life when she as a single mother needed to find a way to pay the bills and on a whim signed up for a technical videography program. She was very talented and quickly found she could express herself through celebrating the beauty of a great love story through through wedding and event videos. She started her own business Premiere Images in Scottsdale AZ creating cherished memories for countless brides, grooms and families capturing moments that will be treasured for generations

Patricia is survived by her daughter Heidi Harapko; her son Sean Harapko and daughter-in-law Alicia Harapko; her granddaughters Arianna and Natalie Harapko; and her sisters Sharon Moran (Bob), Barb McGlynn (Kevin). She leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will sorely miss her.

Her strength, her faith, and her boundless compassion will remain with us always. We will carry her light forward in the way she taught us—through love, kindness, and the courage to keep going.

A Celebration of Life Mass will be held on Friday, January 23 at 10:30 AM at St. Louise de Marillac, 320 McMurray Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15241, with a luncheon to follow at a nearby restaurant.
