Sharon Patricia Hoyt (Kelley), age 77, of Westampton, NJ and recently Woodstock, MD, went home to be with the Lord on October 26, 2025.
Sharon was born on August 10, 1948 in Atlanta, GA., the eldest child to John F. Kelley and Patricia Kelley (Cowherd).
She was known for her dedicated work as a reference librarian, with her research skills spilling into her pride as a civilian sleuth for aid in criminal cases. Her joy of sports was shared with her children and friends with her being a lifelong Alabama and Georgia fan. As well as her love for adventures, travel, and music, which always created cherished memories and laughter for her family and friends.
Sharon is survived by her siblings Katharine (Rick) Dumont and David Kelley. Her children Patricia Hoyt, James (Mary) Hoyt Jr., and Christine (JP) Larson. Six grandchildren Mike, Amber, and Doug Darnell; Miles Larson; Aubrey and Norah Hoyt, who she affectionately referred to as her sweet hearties.
Sharon was preceded in death by her ex-husband James Hoyt Sr., her siblings John (Maura) Kelley and James Kelley.
We take comfort in knowing that Sharon is now at peace in the presence of our Lord and Savior.
