Shirley Ann Livesay passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025, after a brief stay in the hospital. She was surrounded by loved ones throughout her final weeks. A legacy of love will continue through those who have been touched by her presence in their lives.

Shirley was born in Baltimore to Doris Jane Russell and Milton Joshua Bowen Sr. on May 9, 1939. Shirley's youth in Baltimore included going swimming, bowling, fishing and crabbing. She enjoyed movies, parades, soda shops, and visits with loved ones.

She was married to Jim Livesay 1956-1980. During his early career in the Air Force, they spent time in Cheyenne, Wyoming; Carolina Beach, North Carolina; and Bedford, England.

Her life was centered around holidays, milestones, birthdays and quality time with her family including her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.

After a 36 year career, she retired from her position as Office Manager from the office of Doctors Warren, Machado, and McClain, and kept up with many close friends from her time there.

Shirley was preceded in death by her mother Doris Paes, her sister Doris Sheffer, her half-sister Darlene Paes, her brother Milton Bowen, her daughter Lynn Mozingo, and many more family and friends. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Tim Kruzic; her son-in-law, Dave Mozingo; her grandchildren, Adam and Carla Kruzic, Ariana Kruzic, Jenna Mozingo and Drew Barrett, and Meena Rivera; her great-grandchildren, Camden, Lillian, Dean, and June.

In lieu of flowers, Shirley would ask to be remembered with donations to St. Jude’s or a charity of your choice.
