Tyler Douglas Voyer (2000–2026)
Tyler Douglas Voyer, 26, of Dundalk, MD, passed away suddenly at home on September 1, 2026. A cherished son, brother, and friend, Tyler’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Born in Columbia, MD, in 2000 to Melissa and Dan Voyer, Tyler was a kind-hearted soul who loved gaming with his brothers. He was active in his community, playing football for the Dundalk Knights and lacrosse for the Dragons. Tyler was a devoted family man who would be there for anyone who needed him, no matter the circumstances. Above all, he adored his baby nephew, Adam, whom he spoke of constantly.
Tyler attended Dundalk High School before proudly joining the United States Marine Corps. He reached the rank of Lance Corporal before being medically retired following an epilepsy diagnosis during boot camp. He took great pride in his achievements.
Tyler had a deep passion for anime—particularly Dragon Ball, Demon Slayer, One Punch Man, One Piece, The Rising of the Shield Hero, and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime—and he was an avid gamer. His love for gaming defined much of his life; he enjoyed playing Army of Two the 40th Day, Resident Evil 5, Halo, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Dragon Ball, and GTA V, with Warframe being his favorite, having logged over 1,281 hours of gameplay.
Tyler is survived by his mother, Melissa; father, Daniel; brothers, George, Brandon, and Nicholas; nephew, Adam; grandparents, Judy and Marcel Voyer; and a large, loving extended family of aunts, uncles, and many friends who will carry his memory forward. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lillian and Larry Smith; his aunt and uncle, Susan and Alvin Fiscus; and his favorite dogs, Max and Buddy.
A celebration of life will be held at Confetti Event Center on November 14, 2026 at 1pm to 5pm. We are requesting everyone to wear red and black with the exception of his Marine Corp brothers he would love for you to wear your dress blues or marine attire.
