William B Hartman

Bill was born in Baltimore and spent his life in the city he loved. He was known for his sharp sense of humor, his gift for languages, and his love of crossword puzzles. He also had a lifelong interest in collecting coins.

Bill is survived by his three siblings, Piper Nadelle, Mary Laslett, and Stephen Hartman. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Grace Hartman, and his brother, Edward Hartman.

A memorial service celebrating Bill's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on September 12, 2026, at Immanuel Episcopal Church, 1509 Glencoe Road, Glencoe, Maryland.

Bill will be remembered for his quick wit, curiosity, and many interests, as well as for the unique personality he brought to those who knew him.
