William Gerard Noppinger

William "Bill" Gerard Noppinger, age 77, of Bel Air, MD passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025, surrounded by family at Stella Maris in Timonium, MD. He was born on March 13, 1948, in Baltimore, MD, a son of the late Herman Noppinger and Annette Noppinger Williams, stepson of the late Thomas Williams. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sharon (Allen) Noppinger, mother of their child, Nicholas Noppinger (Barbara) of Edgewood, MD. He is survived by his current wife, Joan Noppinger, and her children, Stephen Myers and Lisa Myers. Bill is also survived by his sister Lynn Keller (Don), brothers Michael Noppinger (Michele), Jay Noppinger (Donna), stepbrother Richard Williams and many nieces and nephews.

He was an Air Force veteran, who served between 1967 and 1970 during the Vietnam War. He also worked in the printing industry for many years until his retirement. Bill enjoyed music and sports, particularly watching the Baltimore Orioles. He loved his family and his dogs.

He lived a life that exemplified kindness, integrity, and dedication to his family and community. Throughout his years, Bill was known for his warm spirit and unwavering commitment to those around him. His early years in Baltimore shaped his character, instilling in him a sense of pride and connection to his roots. He embraced life's challenges with grace and determination, leaving a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed by those who cherished him, including his friends and extended family. As we honor Bill's memory, we celebrate his life, filled with love and devotion. His legacy will continue to inspire those who carry forward his values of compassion and service to others. Bill leaves behind a profound difference in the hearts of all who knew him, and his spirit will remain a guiding force in their lives.
