Wilson A Adeloye

Wilson A. Adeloye died in Baltimore, MD on Friday, September 25, 2026 after a brief illness.

Born in Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria in 1947, Wilson traveled to Washington, DC in 1971 to attend university. While attending school he met Nancy, his wife of 47 years. Their sons Christopher (Christina Lemley) and Brian (Stacey Fatica) were soon added to complete his family. His granddaughter, Claire, was the joy of his retirement years.

Wilson was dedicated to his wife and family. Fatherhood was most important to him, and he was an excellent role model, especially to his two sons. He was very proud to attain U.S. citizenship. He valued community, and was actively involved in mentoring inner city youth and coaching youth soccer.

Wilson is remembered by family, friends and associates as kind, generous and outgoing.

Memorial services will be held in spring 2027.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital are welcomed.
